| A few of my holiday decorations and favorite Christmas movies |
- The Chronicles of Narnia: Although it's not a Christmas-themed movie, it always reminds me of the holidays. The snowy land of Narnia really makes me feel like I'm in a winter wonderland!
- Love Actually: How can you not love this movie? As many times as I've watched it, I still get teary-eyed every time.
- The Holiday: This is another tear-jerker for me. I guess you can say I'm a sucker for any romantic comedy, especially those that involve my favorite time of the year!
- Elf: When I need to lighten things up a bit, I watch Elf. Will Ferrell in yellow tights? Yes, please!
I'm also big on watching the made for TV Christmas movies. The Hallmark Channel and ABC Family have been on permanent rotation in my house for the last few weeks. Not to mention, the holiday tunes cranking from my iPod. Maybe This Christmas and Wintersong rank up there as my favorite holiday albums.
Now that you know about my holiday favorites, I want to hear about yours!!! What are your favorite movies to watch this time of the year?
My absolute favorite movies to watch during the holidays are Holiday Inn, White Christmas and Christmas in Connecticut. All oldies, but I simply love them!
ReplyDeleteI really like Elf, too. I tried watching Christmas Vacation and couldn't get into it. I don't know what's wrong with me!?!?
Pamela: Believe it or not, I haven't seen some of those oldies!?!? I'll have to add them to my movie list this year. I can understand not being on board with Christmas Vacation. I like it, but I wouldn't call it a favorite.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Christmas movies is The Holiday...it is so cute! I also really love Serendipity. And of course, ELf is hilarious...so fun!

Love holiday movies and puts me in the spirit! Elf is my favorite and I usually watch it a billion times, but I just finally watched It's a Wonderful Life and I loved it and it will be on my list. Love Actually is the best too.
